Fantastical Sculptures

I use different types of clay and tools, my favorite tools by far are my hands and imagination. Keeping the clay wet and malleable is a fine balance. Starting a new sculpture is exhilarating with endless possibilities.

The touch of clay is like no other, starting out cold and warming up when rolled in my hands. It seems like magic to use an earthly material and mold it into a form that has a life of its own and emotion. Wearing gloves to sculpt is counterintuitive.
